USA vs Finland – Hockey Olympic
Only one team stands between the United States and the Gold Medal game. That team is Finland and they just happen to be lead by the hottest goalie (/TBL’d) in the Olympics, Miikka Kiprusoff. In ice hockey, a hot goalie can carry you a long way.
Team America’s goalie hasn’t been too shabby himself, as Ryan Miller has been outstanding during the Olympics, but Kiprusoff has been just a little bit better.
The game will be shown live (on both coasts!) at 3pm Eastern on NBC. Winner (presumably) gets Canada. This is easily the biggest game in US hockey history since the Canada game earlier this week. Also, there’s speed skating at 3:30 on MSNBC if you like people going in circles very quickly.
